Flexibility Series - Back & Shoulder Flexibility
After pounding through dozens of tumbling passes and throwing and catching girls all practice long, one of the tightest areas for cheerleaders tends to be in the back and shoulders. Much of the strength needed to perform stunts and tumbling comes from this area, and because of the repetition, the back and shoulders become very tight. This class helps relax those muscle groups, allowing for more flexibility in the shoulders and back which will lead to increased mobility, proper technique, and injury prevention.
